No. Magic mushrooms are illegal in Florida. Psilocybin and psilocyn are Schedule I under section 893.03, and possession is a third-degree felony, up to five years. Since 2025-07-01, section 500.75 also bans selling or shipping spores that can produce them. As of 2026-10-26, no enacted law eases this.

No. Magic mushrooms are illegal in California. Psilocybin and psilocyn are Schedule I under state law (Health and Safety Code 11054), and possession is ordinarily punishable by up to one year in county jail (section 11377). Cities told police to treat it as low priority, which changes no statute. No law has legalized psilocybin statewide.
